SPOTLIGHT DANCE COMPANY:

Spotlight Dance Company is our audition only performance and competition team here at Center Stage Dance. This team is where our dancers, ages 8 and up, truly shine in a positive and supportive environment! This performance group offers an incredible opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the joy of dancing, both on stage and in competition.

 

Our season begins with auditions, where dancers showcase their skills and attitude in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Following auditions, they jump into Spotlight Workouts over the summer to stay energized and prepared for the exciting year ahead.

 

In the first half of the season, dancers focus on preparing for our Winter Show. Each dancer will shine in two dynamic numbers, and all numbers will be showcased in multiple performances in our black box theater space. It’s a fantastic way for them to display their talent and hard work while being surrounded by a supportive community.

As we move into the competition portion of the season in January, the excitement continues with local dance competitions. Each dancer on Spotlight Dance Co. will be cast in one required team number. Dancers have the option to add extra routines at an additional cost—like small groups, duets, or trios—or even take on a solo if they’re ready for the challenge.

 

Being part of Spotlight Dance Company means more than just dancing. It’s about fostering a sense of teamwork, confidence, and creating lasting memories in a nurturing and uplifting environment. We celebrate every dancer’s growth and achievements, making every step of the journey as rewarding as the performances themselves!
